Experience Art Classes at Cranberry Barn Studios
Nurture your creativity and sense of wonder in a unique, inspirational setting. Unlike many typical art classes housed in institutional facilities, Cranberry Barn Studios is a renovated barn studio in a lovely, rustic, natural environment surrounded by apple trees, split rail fences, and cranberry bogs.
Class sizes are very small and tailored to individual needs. There are no more than 6 students per class in a fully heated, fully air-conditioned barn studio. Students from beginners to more experienced artists work at their own rate of speed in a supportive, enjoyable, encouraging environment as they explore their creative capacities. Enrollment is on a first-come basis and the cost of basic supplies is included in the reasonable fee. Dr. Virginia Freyermuth is the instructor.
Named a National Outstanding Art Teacher, Dr. Virginia K. Freyermuth has taught for over 33 years to all age and experience levels from grades Pre-K through 12, college, and adults. She promotes holistic art education by which the heart and mind are open to possibility, where intention and intuition are honored, and where doing work that matters with wonder, grace and love is valued. She believes that each person has the capacity for authentic, personally meaningful artistic engagement and that the creative process can be transformative. Art is viewed as inclusive, an inherent part of who we are as human beings; it is our universal language.
