Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved to make art and dreamed of becoming an artist. As she grew, her studies taught her how to make good art--art that was well-composed and carefully considered. But she longed to go beyond the making of beautiful pictures. As a professional artist, she wanted her artwork to matter not only for herself but also for others.
She thought about people with many challenges. She thought about the world and the importance of caring for the environment. She wished that, as an artist, there was a way to use her talents and abilities to help. She read a quotation by Elbert Hubbard who said, "Art is not a thing; it is a way." She decided that her art could be a way to contribute to worthy causes for people and the environment, an art of compassion and love.
Instead of only being concerned with making good art, she would also make art for good. That is how Art For Good ™ was born.
Each designated Giclée Print sold through this website will be stamped on the back with the Art For Good ™ seal signifying that this work supported a worthy cause and will be accompanied by a document with this story.
That is where the Art For Good ™ story begins. Hopefully it will have many happy endings.
