Consulting for Curriculum Development

Dr. Virginia Freyermuth offers school systems vision and guidance for the development of quality arts or interdisciplinary curriculum that engages teachers in a thought-provoking, interactive process. Dr. Freyermuth is an award-winning art educator with extensive teaching and administrative experience in K-12 classrooms. She has also worked full-time at the college level in teacher preparation, is well-versed in requirements of state standards, is currently engaged in professional development teaching, and understands the challenges and opportunities of 21st century teaching and learning. In this way, she views curriculum development as an opportunity to bring a renewed sense of energy and purpose to teaching.

Virginia Freyermuth, Master of Fine Arts, Ph.D., and Massachusetts licensed K-12 Art Educator, has worked as a professional consultant for grades K-12 arts curriculum development in varied school systems. She worked collaboratively for fourteen years as a K-12 Arts Coordinator to develop a nationally-recognized program in visual art. As a member of the Teacher Leadership Academy of Massachusetts, Dr. Freyermuth has worked collaboratively with teachers of varied disciplines as a member of the Strategic Planning Team to define future goals and actions of the organization.
